Ceska Trebova

Estas últimas 33 fotos que acabo de poner me las envió ayer Lukas Kucera, que también se llama Charles Carltrop o escribe desde el e-mail de Charles, a saber.

El 23 de julio recibí un e-mail suyo en el que decía "Hallo! I found your blog on the web, and I was a) surprised and b) delighted, that there is another fool like me, who shoots pictures of canals and other lids! I made some pics of lids in Portugal last spring too, mainly in Porto. So when I found yours, it was sweet reminder to me. Well-known shapes and reliefes, hmmm. Wish You good light and more lids! Lukas Kucera, Czech Republic".

Me sorprendió bastante, y contesté obligado a ser escueto por mi inglés conservado en formol desde octavo de EGB: "If you have some pictures and send them to me I will publish them. Good regards: Enrique Muñiz"

Oye, dicho y hecho. El 28 de julio me dice: "Hallo, I choosed about 50 pictures at the weekend, but those files are too big when sending by email, so then you can make decision which on is suitable for your web. Please, send me some determinations you need to put it on web (size in pixels, dpi, format - eg. tiff, jpg etc.) I will fit it up to size and format, and repair it's shapness. The pictures are about 1,5 MB and cca 3000x2000 pxl each right now. Have a nice day. Lukas Kucera"

Y le contesto: "¡¡50 pictures!! I ussually put in the web pictures 400x300 pix aprox., no more than 300 or 400 KB Perhaps you can send me five e-mails with 10 pictures. Sorry by my "english". Take it easy (like The Eagels said): Enrique Muñiz"

Y ayer, en pleno sábado 2 de agosto, me envía las 33 fotos con el siguiente mensaje: "Hallo, finaly I prepared pictures for email transfer. I made second selection so now I choosed 33 pics - I think my best of. Now it is your turn to choose which pictures you are going to choose or publish. I hope you will like it. I attached also text file with short legend to pictures - date, country, city, and type of cover Pictures are in zipped folder so I hope it will be ok to open it. If it will be damaged, write me back, i will send it file by file. Have a nice weekend Lukas Kucera"

En fin, esta es la historia de mi amigo alcantarillero Lukas Kucera. I hope see you in Madrid.
